**We will not have a Reading story or spelling words this week. We will continue our unit on Christmas Around the World with a culmination activity on Thursday, our Christmas Breakfast!
*Dec.10 Milk and cookies with Santa-enjoy an evening planned by our wonderful PTO with pictures, activities, and loads of Christmas fun! 4:15-5:30
*Dec. 14-Wrapped candy bar due-each child who wants to participate in this fun activity needs to bring a wrapped candy bar (regular size-no king size or snack size please!) A great way to wrap your child's candy bars is in a check box! Please label the wrapped candy bar with your child's name. Since the children are not exchanging gifts this year, this game allows them to open a gift! We, of course, will enjoy the candy bars after they are opened! YUM! We will do this on Dec. 16th.
*Dec. 15-Students may visit the "store" to spend their Algood bucks or save $9 for the movie reward on Thursday.
***Dec.16-Christmas Breakfast Celebration!!! Beginning at 8:15 am.-8:45 am. A note with items needed is attached.
-Algood Braves Bucks Reward Day (for being respectful, responsible, and ready at school)Movie at 9:00am for $9 in Algood bucks!
-Wrapped candy bar game/Christmas crafts and games (afternoon) Beginning at 2:00.
*Dec.17-10:00 am Dismiss for Winter Break.
-Last day for yearbook $25
-January 4-Return to school.....

~Please help our school by saving "Box Tops for Education". Our school gets money for each box top that you turn in! Please trim around each label neatly and put in bundles of 50 per envelope or baggie. Please put your child's name on each baggie and homeroom teacher's name.
~We are also saving Nestle Water labels for P.E.! Please help our school earn physical education equipment. Turn these in to Mr. Reese.
~You may also save soft drink "tabs". We will keep a container in our room. Please have your tabs counted with a total number and your child's name on the front of the baggie before bringing them in to school. The money raised for each tab goes to the Ronald McDonald House-a home for families of hospitalized children. Please help with this wonderful cause!!
~Please collect Campbell's Soup labels,as well!

-PARENTS, CHECK YOUR CHILD'S FOLDER EACH NIGHT. WHEN GRADED WORK IS IN THE FOLDER, PLEASE CHECK THESE PAPERS. IF THERE ARE GRADES OF A 70 OR BELOW, PLEASE SIGN THIS WORK, HAVE CHILD CORRECT, AND RETURN TO SCHOOL.
-Please send lunch money in a sealed envelope. Include your child's name, lunch number, and my name.
-Remember, afternoon car riders, make sure your name tag is in the front window of your card visible by all!! THANK YOU!
