I am originally from Jackson County, Tennesee,from which I graduated high
school. I attended/graduated from Tennessee Tech University-twice! The
first time receiving my B.S. in Elementary Education and the second, my
Masters in Administration and Supervision. I have been teaching for 18
years and I love it--the kids, the excitement, everything about it. I have
taught every grade k-8.
I have one child, Ethan,who is in the 6th grade at Algood. We have
a Maltese dog, named Koby.
My hobby is my child. We are members Collegeside Church of Christ and try to stay pretty active
there. We love to be outside doing just about anything such as riding bikes, walking, playing ball,
riding horses, fishing, jumping on the trampoline and swimming,going to the beach and
mountains.... just to name a few.
We have a very close family and enjoy gatherings which ALWAYS consists of
eating, talking, and LOTS of laughing!!
I am very excited to be your child's teacher and anticipate a year full of fun and learning!
My mission for my class this year is to instill the love of learning in your
child! I want your child to LOVE to come to school, I want them to be
happy, love themselves as well as others, respect themselves as well as
others and just BE HAPPY while learning and working together as a team!!!
