I am in my sixth year at Meigs Magnet School. I have been teaching
for 18 years in Metro Nashville Public Schools. I have always taught 6th
grade and enjoy this grade the best. I have been the wrestling coach
for Meigs and have also coached wrestling at Jere Baxter and Brick Church
Middle Schools, too. Hobbies I enjoy include riding my Harley 1200 Custom
motorcycle, playing with my dogs, working out at the YMCA, learning the guitar,
listening to music, watching tv, and internet web design. I am married to
Mrs. Tammy Parsons who used to teach 7th grade at Meigs. Mrs. Parsons and I
have four nephews and three nieces. We attend the Donelson Church of Christ.
We have lived in Donelson since we got married in 2005.
Our class mission is to always utilize the three "Rs." We make respect
our number one goal. We will also be responsible and resourceful!
