two semesters.
--------------------------------------
What work areas use CAD I?
CAD is used in manufacturing, construction, engineering and architectural
companies. All building trades use CAD. Products for manufacture are
produced from blueprints. Interior design uses CAD. Animation businesses
use CAD.

Who can be successful in CAD I?
Students who have the desire to be successful can be successful in this

allowed to work at their own pace under most situations.
--------------------------------------
How much math do I have to have to be successful?
CAD uses basic mathematics, i.e., multiplication, adding, subtraction, and
division. Both Englisn and Metrics are used. Fractions and decimals are
studied and implemented. GEometry is a plus.
--------------------------------------
What is Principles of Machining and Manufacturing?
This class teaces the fundamentals of machining; focusing on the major
machine groups, i.e. lathes, milling machines, drill presses, saws, welders
etc. Safety is a big component of each unit. Product analysis, cost of
manufacture, OSHA, competencies, quality and employablity are jsut a few of
the items discussed in this class.
--------------------------------------
How hard are these units to learn?
EAch student starts with simple and works to complex; each day getting more
proficient in operations. AT the end of course each student has learned
