I graduated from Milan High School in 1983!!! I have a BS and a MS in
Education from The University of TN at Martin. I have taught for 14 years at
various levels. I taught freshman level biology at UTM, 7th grade science at
Martin Middle School, 8th grade math and science at Milan Middle School, and
ten years of Biology I, Biology II, and Anatomy and Physiology at Milan
High School. I have coached cheerleading for 5 years. Currently, I only
coach during football season.
I have a wonderful family. My husband is SFC Robert Hopper. He is a
recruiter with the TN Army National Guard. This year we celebrated 27 years
of wedded bliss. I have two fantastic children. Mandy is a pediatric nurse
practitioner. She and her husband, Anthony, reside in Nashville. Dusty is an
engineer in the TN Army National and is currently deployed to Iraq.

Our goal is to learn while having fun! And of course, all students WILL pass
the Gateway......no exceptions!
