What is studied in English 10?

Students will read fiction selections including several plays.  
We will study non-fiction in several different mediums. We will
also study many grammar and writing concepts.
Students must also master the state's curriculum standards in
order to pass the EOC exam at the end of the English 10 B.

What is the EOC?

The English 10 EOC (end-of course) Exam is a state-mandated 
test. Students in English 10 must take this test. Passing the
EOC is essential. It demonstrates mastery of the curriculum
standards, and it factors into the last trimester's average for
the course. EOC exams are given in several courses, including
English 9, Biology, U. S. History, and Algebra I.
