In kindergarten, first, second, and third grade, we read 20 picture books.
After reading all the books with me, the students vote on their favorite
book.
Then I submit their votes to the Volunteer State Book Award commitee. Last
year over 19,000 students voted! Last year Watertown picked the winning
book: Bad Kitty.
