Hello to all of my students and their parents! I am a new teacher at Alamo
Heights High School and am very excited to be here working with all of you.
I am a native of San Antonio and I graduated from A&M (whoop!) then received
my Master's in Biology from UTSA. I have been teaching high school science
for 3 years and worked in research and lab management previous to that. I
most enjoy spending time with my son Diego (8), camping, caving, snowskiing,
and reading.
My favorite color is red.
My favorite movie is Fight Club.
My favorite book recently is The Chalupa Rules.
My favorite cd recently is The Score (Fugees).
I love watching House and So You Think You Can Dance.
I love Thai food.
Lastly and most important: I Love Science!!!!
My mission for this year is to increase my students' interest in science and
help them develop a love of learning. In addition, I want my students to
gain valuable science knowledge to enrich their daily and future lives.
