Mrs. Peterson's English Classes

We are moving through the research unit rather quickly. However, I have had to adjust the November calendar slightly.  All of the pieces of the research project (note cards, bibliography charts, handwritten drafts, typed copies, etc.) will be due on Wednesday, November 11.  This unit is designed to focus on the process of preparing a documented paper rather than just on the final product. It will be impossible for me to read all of the papers and assign a final grade to them before the end of the grading period, so know that the grades for the second six-weeks will consist of the individual parts of the process.  If you have questions about this, please let me know.

A big "thank you" to those who have turned in their registration forms.  I am excited about the trip and am looking forward to meeting with students and parents in February. Notices about the meeting will be distributed to the students, and emails will be sent announcing the meeting date, time, and location.  See you then!
