Arts in Education Committee
Responsible for conducting the Reflections Program sponsored by the National PTA.
The Reflections Program encourages students to develop their skills in the areas of art, music, literature and photography by offering a contest for students to compete.
Communicates theme, rules & deadlines to teachers, student body and parents to encourage participation of all students.

Communications Committee
The Communications Committee is responsible for school-wide PTA communications. Publishes the PTA newsletter, maintains the PTA website and e-mail distribution list, the student directory and the school’s marquee.

Dad’s Subcommittee
Responsible for increasing the participation of fathers, father figures and other adult male role models in the PTA and the school.
Runs the Dads at the Door program which brings fathers and father figures to the school every morning to greet students.
Offers input and suggestions, from a male’s perspective and regarding PTA events and communications.

• Coordinates new projects targeted at fathers and father figures.

Events Committee
Produce large-scale PTA events to benefit the school community to raise funds for the PTA and support the mission and goals of the PTA.
Examples of such events include the PTA Carnival, the School Fun Run and silent auctions.
Works collaboratively with other committees to plan and implement events.

Develop and execute a plan for each event to include what food/drink will be provided, room reservation or set-up, who will pay or contribute the food, and cleanup after the event.
Responsible for the recruitment and coordination of PTA and non-PTA volunteers at such events.
Contact local businesses for food/drink donations or cash contributions to fund the refreshments and coordinate the delivery or pickup of such items.

Responsible for developing and implementing membership enrollment activities to recruit parents, teachers, staff, and community members.
