On Saturday, February 9, 2008, The Austin Academy Theatre Team brought home 2nd Place
Sweepstakes from Garland High School's Junior Classic Tournament. Frankford MS from Plano were
very tough competition and they ended up winning
first place, and Jackson MS-Grand Prairie took 3rd. However, the following students won group
and individual awards:
