I have been an active participant in the Theater Arts for the past 20
years.
I hold a B.A. in Theater from Florida State University, an A.A. in
Advanced Acting from The American Academy of Dramatic Arts - West
and Teacher Certification from Texas A&M-Commerce. I am married and have a
one-year old
daughter.
This is
my fifth year at Austin Academy and I feel very at home here with
such a
wonderful faculty, administration, and PTA. I believe that Theatre Arts
can be an
amazing tool in developing one's own identity and positive self-esteem
and I
think that middle school is a crucial time for these lessons to be
learned.
