This will be my fourth year at Berkman Elementary and I am so "Proud to be a
Berkman Bee". Although I started as a 2nd grade teacher, I've taught third
grade two years. I love working with the children in this age group because
they come with great curiosity and willingness to learn, and I get to see
their growth and success.
I grew up in Cleveland, Ohio, lived in Atlanta, Georgia for several years
after high school, and moved to Round Rock, Texas in 1998. I have one sister
who lives here with her husband and children. I also have four adult
children, one son and three daughters, who live in Cleveland, OH, Houston and
Arlington, Texas. Much of my work career has been in civil service government
work, monitoring programs that assisted low income families.
I enjoy roller skating and bowling, playing board games with family, and
especially watching TV talent shows like American Idol and So You Think You
Can Dance. My biggest passion is travel and genealogy/family history
research. Most of all, I love children, so working with your children is
truly a labor of love.
