November 1 is our third grade PTA performance. Third graders in my
room will present from 6:30-7:00. Come for the PTA meeting and stay for the
program.
Our third grade newsletter is sent via email every Thursday. You
will find information about our daily schedule and any special activities
that are happening for third grade at school. You will see the first report
card coming home in the yellow communication folder on November 3.
I have sent home a permission and medical release form for you to
sign and return, so that your child may attend the play, "Peter Pan and
Wendy", at the Performing Arts Center at McNeil High School. We will leave
at 9:15 AM on November 29 and return to school before lunch.
Our Thanksgiving break begins November 23 and the students return
on Monday, November 28. Our winter holiday (Christmas), starts on December
16 and the students return on January 3, 2012.
This year, I have been very happy with the manner in whcih my
students conduct themselves and come prepared to learn every day. They
receive daily compliments on how well they follow our school rules from other
adults in the building.
Please feel free to contact me with questions or concerns that you
may have about your child. I am very good at returning your emails with the
information you have asked me to clarify, but I don't usually have time after
8:00 to sit at the computer. If there is something important that you must
let me know, call and leave a message. There is a red signal on my phone
which gets my attention. Mrs. Savory is able to interrupt the class with an
announcement if it is necessary to get my immediate attention.
