Miss. Davis (428-7749). . .
I grew up in southern CA and moved to TX in 1997 to attend TCU (GO FROGS!!) in Fort Worth where I earned my bachelor's degree. After college I worked in the media industry producing television shows in Los Angeles, but I didn't feel as though I was making a difference in the world so I decided to go into teaching. I always LOVED school! So now I am excited every morning to wake up and have the opportunity to inspire children, and help them learn and grow. This is my 4th full year of teaching. I've taught grades 2, 3, and 5 as well as college writing courses, and now I am super excited to join the 4th grade team here at Bluebonnet Elementary!
In my free time I love to read, write, hike the trails around Austin and the Hill Country, cook, watch movies, travel to far off places(most recently Austrailia) and spend time with friends and family. I have two spoiled rotten cats, Jett and Romeo, and a neurotic German Shepard named Shelby, and we all live happily in Round Rock, TX.

What an honor it is to be a Bluebonnet Bulldog; Bluebonnet is certainly the best place to be! I feel blessed that I am able to teach such bright students in such a wonderful and welcoming school. As my students walk in the door each morning, I am reminded of the joys of teaching and why I chose this
profession at such a young age. Teaching has been my dream; and is now, my passion.
I come to Bluebonnet after living in Denver, CO for 20 years. My family still lives in Colorado, including my cute and adorable three year old nephew whom I miss terribly! I attended the University of Northern Colorado and in 2007 I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education with an emphasis in
English as a Second Langauge. I hope to continue my higher educational goals with a Master's Degree in Special Education within the next few years. This will be my second year atBluebonnet and my fifth year teaching fourth grade.
My goal is to provide for your student the very best possible education with the utilization of the latest research-based teaching strategies. I am a firm believer that every child can succeed with the best support coming from school and home. Together we can achieve great things!
Welcome to the 2011-2012 school year. Go Bulldogs!
More to come...
