WELCOME TO 4TH GRADE!!!!

We are going to have lots of fun this year learning new and exciting things in science. Each day put on your thinking caps when you come to class so you can learn, learn, learn! Please remember to bring all needed supplies to class each day so you will be prepared.

BOXTOPS FOR EDUCATION, CAMPBELL'S SOUP LABELS, and TYSON LABELS

Calling all students, calling all parents, calling everyone!!!!

   We need you to collect Box Tops 4 Education, Campbell's Soup Labels, and Tyson Labels so that our school can enjoy improvements to our playground and school. You can place the Box Tops or Labels in a baggie with your name and my name (Mrs. Moffett) on it and put them in the silver can by my desk.  Or for fun you can put the Box Tops on the monthly color sheet. Once the sheet is full you can turn it in to the silver can. I will give you a new sheet as you turn in each full sheet. Earn extra points by putting the Campbell's Labels on the collection sheet provided in your VIP folders last week.
   Are you up for a challenge? If so bring all Box Tops 4 Education, Campbell's Soup Labels, and Tyson Labels and place them in to my can each week for the class race! What class race you ask?? Each homeroom in the Intermediate is in a race to see which class can collect the most Box Tops and Campbell's Labels.

LET'S GET FIRED UP AND BRING IN ALL THE BOX TOPS 4 EDUCATION, CAMPBELL'S SOUP LABELS, AND TYSON LABELS THAT WE CAN TO HELP OUR SCHOOL!

During the 2009-2010 year our school earned enough through these programs for awesome new playground equipment, cool science videos for our library, and document cameras with digital projectors for each grade level. Thanks to all who participated!

NOTE TO PARENTS:

On the first day of each week your child will bring home a VIP Folder (Very Important Papers Folder). In the folder will be all the graded papers from the previous week as well as any other important papers. A behavior sheet will also be included noting your child's behavior for the previous week. Please sign the folder and the behavior sheet and return them both to school by Wednesday. A weekly newsletter is included in the folder. This is sent home each week so that parents will be able to keep up with the topics that are being covered in each class, special notes about school, and other events that are going on for that week.
