Hello Parents!

Welcome back to Brushy Creek former students. Welcome to Brushy Creek to our
new students. I am excited that the new school year is here. I just love
seeing all of our FAC families. It is such a pleasure to meet all of our new
FAC families. I have had the privilege of getting to know many of you over
the past few years, but here is a little bit of personal information about me
for our new FAC families.
I graduated from Southwest Texas State University in 1997. I currently am a
student at Texas Tech University. I have been a special educator for 14
years. My experience for 11 of those years has been in FAC. I have been with
Round Rock ISD for the past 11 years. My husband Ruben and I have three
amazing children; Caleb, Ethan, and Grace. Their ages are 9, 7, and 3 years
old. They help to supply me with my evening and weekend life adventures. When
I have a quick break from work and family adventures, I enjoy reading a good
book, doodling on a sketch pad, and going to church.
I am excited to say that we have had some major classroom environment
improvements and we are now located in room 100H. We are in a brand new
classroom. The classroom is larger. It has a great window and a new ADA
approved restroom facility!
I am blessed to have this opportunity in encouraging and teaching your child.
It will be an amazing year!
Sincerely,
Alma Mancillas
