Homework usually comes home on Thursday and is due on Friday. Have your
child draw or cut out 5 (or more) pictures from a magazine and glue them on
the homework paper. Then say each picture word slowly, and write the
letters for the sound they hear. For instance, the picture cave, would be
written like it sounds: c-a-v. For enrichment, your child can write a
silly sentence, using alliteration, such as 'A cold cat climbed on a
colorful car.'
