Weekly homework consists of handwriting practice and phonics for a focus
letter of the alphabet. Your child may draw or cut out pictures that begin
with the assigned letter. Then they need to sound out the word for each
picture and write it phonetically. As a challenge, have your child create
an alliteration sentence to go with each letter. Watch the newsletter for
