Welcome to Kindergarten! My name is Tami Klein. I began my teaching career
26 years ago. It has been my privilege to have taught Kindergarten for the
past 25 years here at Brushy Creek Elementary.
I grew up in Minnesota and graduated from St. Cloud State University in
Minnesota. I moved to Texas to pursue my dream of teaching.
I am married and have been blessed with two children. My son, Nolan is a
Senior this year. My daughter, Elizabeth is a freshman. Both of my children
were former Bluejays and they now attend Cedar Park High School.
Nolan plays varsity lacrosse for the Cedar Park Timberwolves Lacrosse team.
We love to attend the games and cheer him on. Elizabeth has three rabbits and
leases a horse that she loves to care for and ride! She has begun sharing her
love of horses by teaching horse care as teen leader in 4H. She is even
teaching her mother (yes, me) how to ride horses! Yikes!
Also, included in our family are our two dogs, Bentley a 13 year old Yorkie
Poo and Lily our 4 pound Yorkie Shitzu who runs the show!

of learning and encourages respect, kindness and celebrates the differences
of others.
