Dear Families,
Welcome back to another great year! It is so good to see all of your familiar faces, as well as a few new ones!
I know I’ve had the privilege of getting to know many of you over the last year, and you have learned a lot about me as well, but for our new families, here is a little background on me.
I have been teaching for six years, all of which have been at Cactus Ranch. Although all my experience has been in third grade, I am excited to start a new adventure in fourth grade with you and your child.
I also just celebrated my sixth anniversary with my husband Michael. We met while in college at Texas A&M. Whoop! We have a daughter, Kennedy, who is nine months old. She is the apple of my eye, the spring in my step, and all the other cheesy things first time moms say. We love watching her try new things every day. She is very active, always getting into trouble. Right now she is cruising along the furniture and trying to climb onto things to get to all the fun stuff just out of her reach. We have enjoyed every minute of parenthood.
I’m looking forward to a great year together. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to make fourth grade the best it can be!
