Dear Parents,
Upcoming Events:
1. Wednesday, November 11th is an early release day. Please make arrangements to pick up students at 12:45 pm.
2. Our class field trip to Inner Space Caverns is scheduled for Tuesday, November 17th. Please dress your child for cooler weather and send a sack lunch (unless you indicated the need for a school lunch on the permission slip). I will email chaperones more detailed information soon.
3. The book fair is November 19 and 20th.
4. Family Night Sock Hop in the library Friday, November 20th from 7-9.
5. Thanksgiving Readers Theater performance on Tuesday, November 24th at 1:30 pm in room B116. Please come and enjoy some short Thanksgiving plays preformed by our class. Cookies and punch will be provided.
6. Thanksgiving Break November 25-27th.
Homework Change:
This week I have been working with students to teach them more specifically how to show their work when completing math homework. This is an important skill to learn for success in future grade levels. Please encourage students to show their work on math problems. Please see this past weeks HW in the Tuesday folder for more specific examples. This is a skill that we will continue to work on in class but I appreciate your support as well.
