Dear Parents,
We have a had a great week talking out about our cultures. The collages turned out wonderful! They are displayed in the hall if you would like to stop by and take a look. They did an outstanding job!
We also have been taking a trip across the US on the Polar Express, learning about different states, and the world influences on holiday traditions and customs we celebrate in the United States. Next Friday we will make our final stop. So please send your child to school in their favorite pajamas! We will watch the Polar Express in the morning, and then we will enjoy our winter party that afternoon from 1:00-2:00.
In math we have been talking about TIME. Please review the clock with your child over the weekend and break. We have been covering hour, half-hour, and telling time to the 5 mins. There will be no math homework this week, just a new spelling paragraph. Next week there will be no spelling or math given out, so your winter break will be homework free.
