Dear Families,
Hi! Welcome to the 2011-2012 Kindergarten school year at CRE! I look forward
to getting to know your family and helping your child's kindergarten year be
a positive, fun-filled learning experience. Kindergarten is an exciting and
pivotal year full of exploration and thrilling developmental milestones. I
started teaching with my BSIS in Elementary Education in 1992 from SWTSU and
have enjoyed teaching for sixteen years at a variety of grade levels from Pre-
K through eighth grade. This will be my seventh year to teach kindergarten,
and I love it! My teaching specializations are Reading/Language Arts, Early
Childhood Education, and English as a Second Language. I love to teach
kindergarten and am eager to begin a new school year with learning
experiences that are challenging and a positive adventure!
I live in Round Rock with my husband, Dan, and my two wonderful children,
David and Laura. We love to go camping, and enjoy traveling to West Texas and
New Mexico. I enjoy painting, reading science fiction, and technological
gadgets.
Welcome to our school and to room D101! I am so glad we will be working
together this year in the wonderful learning adventure of kindergarten. I
sincerely wish to ensure that each of my students has an exceptional learning
experience this year!
