I am thrilled to be teaching at Cactus Ranch!!! This will be my
sixth year at Cactus Ranch and my eighth year teaching. After 7 years of
teaching second grade I am excited to teach third grade this year! I look
forward to a new challenge and a great year!
I chose to become a teacher because I love children and wanted to be able to
contribute to their educational and emotional needs. I love the way a
child’s face lights up when they have accomplished something, and look
forward to that everyday.
I am married to a wonderful man named Bo and we have two children.
Ava Judy was born on September 16, 2007. Bo Westen was born October 25, 2010.
They have filled our lives with pure joy and we love watching them grow and
change everyday! Our family also includes an adorable dog named Dixie.
I am very excited about this up coming year - the third grade team has lots
of exciting things planned!!!
