About The Teacher

Welcome Cactus Ranch Families! My name is Carol Cisneros and I am truly
blessed to be a member of the Cactus Ranch Elementary family! This is my 7th
year of teaching young learners. I taught kindergarten in my home town of
Amarillo. I have taught kindergarten and first grade here at Cactus Ranch. My
passion is teaching and I am very excited to be your child's teacher this
school year.

Now...a little bit about myself. I met my husband, Chad, at Amarillo High
School which is in the town where we both grew up. We soon became high school
sweethearts. We both moved to Austin to attend the University of Texas. Hook
em horns!! I am a proud graduate of The University of Texas at Austin where I
graduated with a degree in Early Childhood Education. Chad and I got married
on the beautiful island of Maui in September of 2007 and hope to visit Hawaii
again soon! When I am not teaching, I enjoy church activities, spending time
with my loved ones, running with my husband, and traveling.

I truly love teaching young children because they are so impressionable and
eager to learn new things. I desire and hope my students will have a positive,
fun learning experience in first grade. I believe that education should be an
exciting journey and I will do my best to make it that way for your child.

Please feel free to contact me at any time throughout the school year on my
school phone number at 424-8053 or email me at
carol_cisneros@roundrockisd.org. I can't wait for us to begin a new school
year in room C102.

Mission For The Class

I want my students to be engaged in meaningful processes that foster
creativity and a love of learning and reading. I want to ensure that they
become strategic problem solvers and give their best at everything they try!
The children and I will work together to create our Social Contract during the
first week of school. Our Social Contract will include how we want to be
treated, how we will treat each other, and what we will do if we need reminders.
