Dear Wonderful CRE Students and Parents,
Welcome to 5th Grade! I want to begin by letting you know how excited I am to
have the opportunity to teach your child!
I also want to take this time to provide you with a brief overview of both
professional and personal information about myself.
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Early Child Development with a minor in
Childhood Studies from The University of Texas at Austin. While attending UT,
I was a memeber of the following organizations: Alpha Lambda Delta National
Academic Honor Society, Phi Eta Sigma National Honor Society, The National
Scholars Honor Society, and the Texas-Exes Student Chapter. I completed my
internship and apprentice teaching in the Leander Independent School
District. This will be my third year as a teacher and my third year at
Cactus Ranch.
I was born and raised in Austin and love the fact that I can take advantage
of everything this area has to offer. I love jogging at Town Lake and
attending the local sporting events (HOOK 'EM HORNS!). I also enjoy taking my
beagle, Heidi, on her daily walk thorughout the neighborhood. In my spare
time, I enjoy reading, running, watching movies, and spending time with
family and friends.
I am so thrilled to be teaching this wonderful group of fifth grade
students! We are going to have a very exciting, fun, and successful year!
