Dear Cactus Ranch Family,
Welcome to Fourth Grade! I have anxiously been waiting all summer to
meet you and hope that everyone is ready for a wonderful year of learning and
growing. I am so excited to have the opportunity to have your child in my
classroom this year and am looking forward to being a part of their
educational journey.
This will be my fifth year at Cactus Ranch and my second year
teaching fourth grade. I previously taught fifth grade. I grew up in Austin
and moved to California when I was eleven. I graduated from California State
University Sacramento and couldn’t wait to move back to Texas to begin
teaching. My husband, Chris, and I have been married for four years. We have
two dogs, a boxer and a black lab. For fun, we enjoy hanging out with family
and friends, traveling, and watching football. Go Eagles!
I would like to invite you to visit our classroom (E210) on Friday, August
19th from 5:00 -7:00 p.m. so your child may bring his or her school supplies
and have a chance to become familiar with our room before the first day of
school. For those unable to attend, I look forward to seeing you on Tuesday,
August 23rd.
