I am thrilled to be teaching kindergarten at Cactus Ranch Elementary. This
will be my eighth year teaching at Cactus Ranch and my 32nd year of
teaching. My husband, Greg and I have four children. Jennifer and Becky
are adults now. This year Jennifer is beginning her teaching career in
Bastrop ISD. Morgan is a freshman at Texas Tech. Johanna is a junior at
Leander High
School.
I earned my BS and MEd. at Lander University in South Carolina. I also
completed 38 hours of work in the Early Childhood Doctoral program at the
University of South Carolina. I am certified as a Texas Master Reading
Teacher.
I consider it my life's work to help young children learn. I am looking
forward to working with my new students and their families.
We will work together as a community of learners. We will read, write, and
do math every day. Each day we will do our personal best.
