I am so excited about being at Cactus Ranch again this year. We are going to
have a wonderful time together. This will be a special year filled with
discoveries and developments for all of us. This year 1st graders will
learn how to read fluently, write stories, add, subtract and so much more!
This is my sixth year teaching and I have loved every minute of it! I am a
graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University. Go Lumberjacks!!! In 2006
I married my husband James. In October of last year our first son was born.
His name is Austin James Murdock and he is the light of our lives! Together
James and I enjoy painting, working on projects around the house, cooking
(James does most of the cooking) and most of all keeping up with our 1 year
old son who gets into everything. I'm sure you will see plenty of
pictures of James and Austin throughout the year.
I look forward to getting to know you and your family as the school year
begins. My goal is for us to work together as partners in your child's
