My name is Shelley Nevin and I am so excited to share your third grade
experience! I have lived in many states, taught children with all sorts of
backgrounds, and have come to one conclusion, I love children. I love
teaching them, laughing with them and appreciating their similarities and
differences. I love their spirit, something I treasure and hope never to
break. I love their desire to learn new things and to observe the world all
around them. We as adults can learn so many things from them. I happen to
be blessed to do this daily here at Cactus Ranch Elementary.I also value the
parents of these wonderful children. They are the foundation that the children
come to school with, that we keep as a foundation and work together to build
upon. They are my partners in educating these precious ones and I respect
them very much. My husband, Todd, and our four great children keep me busy in
my spare time. We like to keep busy traveling and playing sports. I love to
read, shop, eat delicious Mexican food, and spend time with great friends.
Third Grade rocks and so do we!
