WELCOME to KINDERGARTEN! I am so excited you are going to be in my class this
year! I know we are going to have a GREAT year!
This will be my fourth year teaching in Round Rock ISD. My family moved to
Round Rock three years after living in Topeka, Kansas for almost 12 years.
My son’s name is Tyler(13) and my daughter’s name is Hailey(7). They keep me
very busy with all their activites, but I wouldn't have it any other way. My
husband is a Round Rock police officer. I have been teaching for 12 years. I
taught 2nd grade for nine years and 1st grade for two years. This will be my
second year of teaching Kindergarten.
I am so excited to be one of your child's first teachers. I am anxious for
all the amazing and new things we will learn and experience together. I look
forward to getting to know you and your family. My goal this year is to
create a classroom family of life long learners. My hope is for your child
to become an independent, responsible, kindergartner who loves learning.
To create a classroom where the students work together to do their personal
best both academically and socially. Also for students to love coming to
school and enjoy learning.
