Important Precautions

Due to the number of different Allergies and Diets in the classroom,
we want to make sure we are proactive and taking the necessary
precautions to make sure every child remains safe. In order for this
to happen we will need cooperation from all parents. It is imperative
for you to follow the following guidelines. The following guidelines
are non-negotiable.
• Snacks: You will be responsible for sending your child to school
with a snack. We ask that each parent provide a box/container of a
healthy snack your child enjoys. You also have the option of packing
your child a snack everyday if that is easier for you.

• Lunch: We are not allowed to warm up food for your child. If
your child’s food needs to be warm you are responsible for preparing
and putting it into a container that will keep it warm. If your
child’s food needs to be prepped (cutting, breaking it up, etc) you
are responsible for preparing it, and sending it ready for your child
to eat. Due to allergies in the classroom it is impossible for the
teachers to be able to prep every child’s food.

• Extra Sippy Cup or Juice Bottle/Cup: Will not be permitted.
Your child’s sippy cup must remain in their lunchbox at all times.
Your child will have access to their cup during lunch, after recess
or P.E. Your child will not be allowed to keep extra sippy cups or
juice bottles in the side of their backpack. Please remember to label
your child’s Juice or Sippy
Cup.
**You can send in a box of Juice/Water for your child and we will
provide your child with a Juice/Water if your child’s doesn’t bring a
lunchbox. **

• After the 1st two weeks of school we will not allow any extra
personal belongings from home.
(Ex. comfort toys, blankets, pacifier, etc.) Any personal belongings
or toys that make their way to school will be kept in a safe place
and returned at the end of the day.

• Sick Children: Students with a temperature of 100 or above
will be sent home. All students must be symptom free and fever free
without the use of medications for 24 hours before returning to
school.
**If the above precautions are continually broken we will schedule a
parent/teacher conference. **

Thank you in advance!!
