How to Make a PopUp Book
Go to AppleWorks - Draw. Select Page View.
Shrink page until you can see the whole page.
Go to Windows and select Show Tools and Show Rulers.
Divide page into two parts by drawing a line.
*Make sure to use the rulers to divide pages in the center.
Place a paint window over the top part of the page.
This will be used to create a background.
Type story on the bottom half of the page.
Print page.
* Start the text two inches below the center line.
Fold the page in half.
Cut two lines on the fold, one inch apart and one inch long.
Push the part of paper fold towards the inside.
When you open the page a square will pop up.
This is where you can paste buildings, characters, etc.
* A good trick is to use AppleWorks Draw to make your characters.
Then copy and paste them into your scrapbook. You can then retrieve
the character and use AppleWorks Draw to change the arm gestures
or details without having to draw the character from scratch.
