MARATHON KIDS FINAL MILE INFO:
The "Final Mile" was recently completed at Burger Stadium. We are so proud
of everyone who completed their marathon. Remember to keep running. Just
because the "Marathon" is over doesn't mean it's time to stop running.
ABOUT MARATHON KIDS:
During the school year, all children run or walk a complete marathon at
recess and PE, but not all at once. They run or walk 1/4 - 1/2 mile at a
time, adding up to 26.2 miles by the end of the program. We will provide
mileage logs this week so you and your child can track his/her progress at
home.
All students who return the signed Marathon Kids form will receive a FREE t-
shirt at the conclusion of the program,in the spring.
CURRENT STUDENTS REGISTERED FOR 2011-12: 579 (That's 450 more Marathon Kids
than last year!!!!!)
