Organization is the key to success!!
Each 5th grade student has been supplied with a daily planner. Daily
planners are kept in each student's binder. Students are responsible
for writing their daily homework assignments down at the end of each day.
Please check their planner to see if they have completed their assignments.
It is very important for our students to be self-reliant as they transition
to middle school. Each student will be held accountable for their homework!
The students will normally have spelling and math homework every night.
The students are also to read for 20 minutes every evening and log it on
their 90-Second Summary sheet.
Parents - your homework is to check your child's Tuesday folders each week
and sign the sheet on the front of the folder. Please look through this
folder for important information and any papers that need to be signed
and/or returned. This is a great opportunity to go over your student's work
with them. I feel it is important to look through problems or questions
that were missed and try to figure out the correct answer, or to understand
why it was missed. We learn from our mistakes!
