I grew up in the Round Rock school district. I attended Brushy Creek Elem,
Old Town Elem., Chisholm Middle School, Cedar Valley Middle School and
graduated from Round Rock Highschool. From there I kept my same highschool
colors and became a Fightin' Texas Aggie. (Not exactly the popular choice
around here, however one inspired by my third grade teacher) I graduated
from the College of Education with a Bachelors degree in Interdisciplinary
Studies. I decided to take a position teaching first grade in Houston at
Monahan Elem. After a year I realized that I truly wanted to be back home.
I moved back to Austin in May of '04. I love working with the supportive
and fantastic staff of Canyon Creek Elem. I consider it an honor and
priviledge to work in the same community that taught me so much. I got
married this summer on June 12th in Greece! My husband, Costa, and I live in
Steiner Ranch and are loving all the fun new beginnings of married life. If
I can do anything for you please let me know. I can't wait to share in the
education experience with you, your child and family.
