I am beginning my fourteenth year of teaching second grade in Round Rock ISD,
with previous teaching experience in New York. I feel very fortunate to have
a job that I enjoy so much.
I was born in the tiny state of Rhode Island and spent most of my days
hanging out with my five brothers. Soon after getting married, we moved to
Poughkeepsie, New York where we lived for fourteen years. An opportunity to
move to Austin came up and we took it. We have definitely made Austin our
home!
My husband Jack and I have three children. Ryan, a UT graduate, is a software
engineer for IBM here in Austin. Kristen, a TCU graduate with a master’s
degree from UT Dallas is a speech pathologist in the Plano School District.
Our youngest, Danielle, is a labor and delivery nurse at Baylor University
Medical Center in Dallas.
Our mission is to love learning and to do quality work. We want to work in
an environment where we all feel successful.
