I am beginning my 29th year of teaching elementary school and can't believe
it has been that long. I've taught kindergarten, first grade, second grade,
third grade, Reading Recovery, and TAG. The last 12 years of my career have
been right here at Canyon Creek. I love what I do and feel so blessed to be
part of such a wonderful school.
I was born in Sulphur Springs, Texas. Although I've lived in many different
towns and cities, I've never moved from my home state... a real Texan!
I've been married to my husband, Donny for 37 years. We have three wonderful
grown children: Josh, Nathan, and Cydney.
