Superstar
Superstar bag, estimation jar, surprise box, class mascot, and mascot bag
will be sent home with student the Friday prior to their superstar week.
Items should be returned on the day indicated below except for the class
mascot and his/her bag. Mascot and their bag must be returned on Friday.
Student can use the superstar bag to bring things into class daily. HAVE FUN!
Monday: All About Me Poster
Bring a poster about yourself to show the class. Be ready to tell about the
pictures!
Tuesday: Estimation Jar
Bring the jar to school with items inside. Your classmates will guess how
many are inside. Don’t tell anyone! Please keep the total number of items
below 100.
Wednesday: Superstar Guest Reader
Bring your favorite story to school to share with the class. If you like, a
family member can come to school and read to the class after lunch or at the
end of the day.
Thursday: Surprise Box
Put a surprise in the box (nothing breakable). Write 3 clues to share so your
classmates can guess what is inside. Remember – it’s a secret!
Friday: Superstar Journal
We’ll read what you and your family have written about your week with Betty
the Butterfly, our class mascots, in our Superstar Journal!
