News for the Week of Nov. 23rd-27th
Dear Parents,
Happy Thanksgiving! I hope this week is a happy, safe, and restful time for your family and that you have some down time to reflect on your blessings!
When I think of all that I'm thankful for, working at CCE with your children and having such great parent support are both high on that list!
NO SPELLING OR READING LOGS THIS WEEK!
ENJOY YOUR HOLIDAY (& FINISH UP NIGHT WRITES)!
Brownie Troop 676 is collecting old batteries to recycle. Instead of throwing your batteries away this year, please send them to the school so the Brownies can dispose of them properly at a hazardous waste center. Thank you for supporting this effort to "Go Green".
CCE is having a poster contest to promote energy awareness in our school, homes, and community. There will be one winner from each grade level. The winning posters will be placed on the Watt Watchers wall for the remainder of the school year. Directions: Entries must be on paper 8 ½” X 11”. All posters must be 2 dimensional. The student's name and teacher’s name must be on the back of the poster. The deadline to turn posters in to the front office is Friday, Nov. 30.
Please check our Wish List...we have some upcoming activities for which we need some items, pluse the kids are saving and saving tickets, but don't seem to want anything left in the treasure box. We need some great items.
