I am Mr. Binnicker and this is Technology Education
We will meet in room 102. Show up on time, prepared(PENCIL EVERYDAY), and ready to work as we have a lot of exciting information to cover!
What is Technology Education?
Technology Education is the study of various elements you encounter in every day life. We will be taking a look at communication, manufacturing, design and problem solving, transportation, energy and power, and possibly some bio-technology related areas as well.
What does it all mean?
I will be asking you this question throughout the year as we progress through the different elements we will cover in this class - What does it all mean to you?
What are we going to do?
We are going to learn! We are also going to be getting our hands dirty as we put to use the information we learn in class. We will be spending some time in the production lab to see what design engineers face on their jobs, use our knowledge of communication to help each other design and build, and make some cool stuff!
