The 2011- 2012 school year is my 33rd year of teaching and my 33rd year working in Round Rock ISD. As a dyslexia specialist, I travel to two campuses-Caraway and Great Oaks and work with dyslexia students. Before becoming a dyslexia specialist, I taught kindergarten, first and second grades. I am a National Board Certified Teacher or NBCT, with certification as an Early Childhood Generalist or EC/GEN.

Away from school, I sew, read, shop and spend time with my family. My husband, Ken works for Bob Mills Furniture Store as a manager. Our daughter, Meghan is married and lives in Leander. Our son, Tyler is a sophmore at Concordia.
