Parents....
As you can tell it has been cooler lately. Keep in mind we will not
have our second gym until next school year so send SWEATS for those cooler
days. Any color will do. We have 5 classes each period and unless it's
raining we do go outside a lot!
Congratulations to the 7th and 8th girls A Team Basketball teams for winning
1st place in the RRISD tournament this past weekend. The 7th grade defeated
Ridgeview, Canyon Vista, and Hopewell to win the championship. The 8th grade
girls A Team defeated Ridgeview, Canyon Vista and Walsh to win the
championship game. Way to go LADY JAGS!!
DECEMBER.....
PLEASE SEND SWEATS WITH YOUR CHILD FOR THE WINTER DAYS!!!! ANY COLOR WILL DO.
WE WILL BE OUTSIDE A LOT BECAUSE WE STILL ONLY HAVE 1 GYM! WALMART HAD SOME
FOR $3. NOT DRESSING OUT WILL AFFECT THEIR GRADE.

Parents,
Please feel free to send water bottles with your child for PE. It is a
very hot time of year and we will be outside a lot. With all of the
construction out back we can't send in too many students to the 8th grade
wing to get water because the back doors are loud and disturb the classes in
that hallway. But hydration should start when they wake up in the morning.
Make sure your children are drinking plenty of fluids each day !
PE and Athletic clothes are still on sale for $25 a set. Or you may buy the
shirt for $10 or the shorts for $15 seperately.
