What is the difference between wellness education and athletics?

Wellness education takes place during the day and does not
require after school practice. During wellness education,
students participate in physical fitness activities and games,
but are not competing against other schools. Students take
athletics during the day and must also attend before or after
school practices if the student makes the competitive team.
(Football, volleyball, basketball, or track) If a student does
not make the team, they will run and condition for other sports.
Once a student is in athletics, they are committed to the full
year program. A student may not change to PE if they do not make
the team.
