Born and raised in Marysville, Lima and Mansfield, Ohio. My mom was my greatest teacher and not a day goes by I don't think of her and thank her for everything she gave and did for me. I love and miss you mom!
Some of the people who have influenced me in my musical development are Carolyn Hurliss, Glen Fischer, Ettore Chiudioni, Larry Cramer, Wendell Jones, Marilyn Sampen, Mark Kelly, Charles Owen, Michael Udow, Alan Dawson, H. Robert Reynolds, Carl St. Clair, and Elizabeth Green.
I began my teaching career in 1983 at Georgetown HS, Georgetown, Texas and came to Round Rock ISD in August of 1985. During my tenure in RRISD I have served as Assistant Band Director at Grisham MS (3 years), opened Deerpark MS as Assistant Band Director (5 years), and then opened Cedar Valley MS as Head Band Director in the fall of 1993. I am proud to be a Cedar Valley Jaguar!
