Tutorials are every Wednesday and Friday mornings. I am also available on
Mondays and Tuesdays, but I monitor students in the hallway. Students are
always welcome to come and work on reading, writing, or missed work on those
days. I am not available on Thursdays due to Language Arts department
meetings.
Students must read their selfselected books for a minimum of two hours per
week. They must write a one sentence response each time they read. Examples
and suggestions for responses are on the front of the reading log. If
students lose a reading log, see the documents page and print a new copy. I
also have extras in the purple file folder in my classroom. Students now
know the expectations for reading. Reading logs will be collected each
Monday.
