About The Teacher

I am a native Texan. I was born in Luling,Texas (home of the famous "Luling 
Watermelon Thump). 
I graduated from St.Edwards University in Austin. 
The city of Round Rock has been my home since 1980.
I married my high school sweetheart, Spencer. 
He graduated from Rice University with a Computer Science degree. He is a 
retired programmer that worked for IBM. 

We have four children Jaclyn,Amber, James and Andrew.
Jaclyn is a graduate from the University of Miami. She got married on August 
12,2006 to an Aggie named David Johnson,graduated from Texas A&M. David and 
Jaclyn had a baby on July 8th,2007 at 6:05 p.m.in College Station, Tx. Her 
name is Alexandra Cecilia.She weighed  8Lbs.12 ozs. and is 21 1/2 inches 
long.  Jaclyn and David had another little girl on January 31, 2010. She was 
born at 3:10 a.m. and weighed 3 Lbs. and 10 ozs. and 
was 19 1/4 inches long. Her name is Hannah Elizabeth. 

Amber graduated from the University of Dallas.She graduated with the honor 
Magna Cum Laude. She is married to Phillip Chesser,graduated from UT Dallas 
with a degree in Business.They were married on January 6,2007. Amber is in 
graduate school. Amber and Phillip are the parents of Kinsley Threse. She was 
born November 6, 2010.
James graduated from Texas Tech University with a BA in Psycology and a minor 
in English on August 7,2010. Yea!He has applied to nursing school where he 
will earn a BSN.
Andrew graduated from Texas A & M University in College Station on August 
12th 2011 with a BS in Recreation,Parks and Tourism Sciences. He is the 
Recreation Coordinator for the city of Rockwall,Texas.He is engaged to a 
young lady who also is an Aggie, Jennifer Mason. They will marry in 2012.

Mission

All students deserve to succeed regardless of their ecomonic or emotional  
background. I believe a student can accomplish anything if they have someone 
to believe in him or her. Time spent with children who need extra help is a 
time well spent.
