Is there homework in Spanish class?

Yes.  The amount varies from once per week to twice per week. For 
Spanish 1a, homework is typically given to emphasize certain
grammar points. I will post homework assignements under the
lesson plan tab.

Can students make up failed work?

Yes.  It is my policy, that a student can make up a failing grade 
for a maximum of a 70. The student must speak to me regarding
what he or she needs to do. It must be turned in before the end
of the grading period.

When can my child come in for extra help or tutorials?

I am available to work with your child before school Monday and 
Wednesday from 7:45 - 8:15. Please have your child make an
appointment with me, if he or she would like
to come in. Cougar Base is also available Mondays and Wednesdays
after school. There is bus that can take students home. The
Spanish department has some tutorial software available for loan
if your child likes to play on the computer.
