Monday 9/14	Students need to have a story chosen and know the main character. They will complete a Character Analysis Face. Fold the two sides over to create a fold out window. On the outside create a physical description of their main character. Tuesday 9/15	Students choose three difficult words from their chosen story and fill in the sheet with three Frayer models on it. They just follow the directions on the page, but it should be quality work since class is given to complete it.	finish frayers	each small section is worth 7points	vocabulary dev.
Wednesday 9/16 Thursday 9/17 Friday 9/18	Wed., Thurs., and Fri. are given to complete the Story Wheel for the project grade. Students should follow instructions on the paper, use the rubric to help them obtain the most points possible, and turn in the rubric with the project for grading purposes. They may use construction paper to create a large circle to keep. They will respond in their journals as to how sound effects the message the producer was trying to convey. Tuesday 10/20 Early Release	Students will read an autobiography about Amelia Earhart using two column notes to write five quotes from the reading to analyze text. HW: finish two column notes TEK: expository text, response to text
Wednesday 10/21	Students will view a biographical video about Amelia Earhart comparing it to the autobiography using a Venn Diagram HW: finish Venn TEK: analysis of expository text, analysis of non written text, compare and contrast
