Hi!
My name is Heather Bethea and I am a 2nd grade teacher at Clayton. I
am in my 9th year of teaching. I absolutely love what I do! I was raised in
Austin and graduated from the University of Texas. Go Longhorns!!
I have a thirteen-year old son, Isaac, who is in 8th grade at Kealing in the
Magnet Program. I also have a beautiful daughter, Elle, who is 19-months old
(and VERY WILD!). Annnnndddd...I welcomed my third child, Elise, on August
29th. We are busy around my house!
In my spare time, I enjoy the outdoors, music, reading, health and cooking. I
attempt to learn or try something new each week and love sharing my passion
of learning with my kiddos. I really strive to set up a rich and exciting
environment in my classroom to allow students to thrive and enjoy every day.
I am looping with my 1st grade class and am confident this will be another
great year. I look forward to working with you and your child again to ensure
a success!
